A DRUNKEN HUSBAND. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Monday. John Casey, who committed a brutal assault on his' wife three weeks after their marriage, has been sentenced to two months' imprisonment with hard labor, the Magistrate adding that if the man could not keep his hands off his wife when intoxicated, he should leave liquor alone. A MYSTERY. Auckland, Monday. Papers from Fiji report that Miss Annie Mills, stewardess 'of the steamer Amra, disappeared on the voyage between Taviuni and Levuka. The matter is a complete mystery.
