WEBSTER BROS.' REPORT.

i Poultry.—At the mart on Saturday we had a very heavy entry of all classes 1 of poultry, extra pens having to be provided on account of the special sale of prizo and show poultry. Among the list submitted were some fine show I birds, competition for which was very keen, and very satisfactory prices were realised, showing to growers the importance of commencing with good tried stock. We quote: Hens, old Is 5d to la ,10d, young 2s to 3«; cockerels, Is 7d to 2s; pullets, W. and B.L. (laying), 3s 2d to 3s lid, others 2s to 2s oil; ducks, 2s 4d; purebred Indian Runners, 3s 7d; drakes, 2s 3d to 3s Id; purebred white leghorn trios. £1 Is; Black Leghorn cockerels, 5s to 7s 6d; rabbits, Is Gd per pair.

Sundries.—ln the mart we disposed of a quantity, of house furniture and sundries at satisfactory prices. Fruit.—This has been in fair supply this week on account of the Fiji steamer arriving with a large cargo of bananas, Apples and Sydney fruit have been in good demand. We quote: Bananas green 7s 6d to Bs, ripa l%d per lb; apples, Stunners 9s to 0s Od; Etowahs, 9s 6d; Rokewoods, 7s 6d to 8s 6d; Doughertys, 9s to Ob 0d; cookers, Washington, 8s to 8s 3d; peanuts, 2%<1 per lb; mandarins, packers Os Od to 7s od, bushels, ,8s (id to. 9s; passions, 6s, pines, Bs. Oranges, bananas, kumeras and pines are expected with new shipment on Monday. L. A. NOLAN & CO.'S REPORT. Messrs. L. A, Nolan & Co. report for ,the week ending July 26 as follows: Poultry—On Saturday we had our usual good entry, all pens being well filled. There was a good demand for ducks. Prices of other birds were on about a par with the previous week. Hens, lg od to 2s Id; cockerels, Is to 2s 9d; roosters, Is lfld to 2s 3d; ducks, 2s to 3s; turkeys, 4s 3d to 6s.
