YACHT RACE IN A STOIiM. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright Ottawa, July 25. During a yacht race on Lake Michigan a storm arose on the lake. One yacht is missing, and one is wrecked; the others took shelter. The winner of the nice dragged her anchor after her arrival and pounded to pieces on the 'beach. The crew were rescued. NOT OASES OF CHOLERA. Ottawa, July 25. Bacteriological examination discloses that the crew of the Benda are not suffering from cholera. DOCKERS' GRIEVANCES. London, July 25. A conference between the Port authority and the dockers of London has appointed a committee to discuss the latter's grievances'. ■ FIRE IN FRANCE. Paris, July 25. A fire destroyed 300 acres of Fontainebleu Forest. The powder magazine and several villages had narrow escapes. . HEAT IN AUSTRIA, Vienna, July 25. The temperature is 108 degrees* in the shade in Vienna and 115 degrees in Sileaia. Deaths from sunstroke are numerous. HOOLEY GAOLED. London, July 25. Mr. E. T. Hooky has surrendered to a writ of attachment, and has been lodged in gaol.
