The Meteorological Office has issued the following summary and forecast: — The harometrrc pressure- has beeri unsteady, and easterly and southerly winds have prevailed,, and ..gales .arc reported at Cape Campbell and TophoUle, but etoewtare mode'rate -tb strong 'breezes have prevailed, t 'with ctoudy and unsettled weather.' PreseAt indications are for strong sotith-eastefhHirftids, cold and damp weather generally, and showers in parts, and snow on the higher levels. The barometer is unsteady, but there will probably be little movement generally.
