Wellington, fjost Night At the Magistrate's Court to day, Julius Jorgensen l , sail-maker on th« barque Duncraig, was committed for trial on a charge of assaulting Charles Bwanson, and causing actual bodily • harm. Jorgensen and SwaJison quarrelled, and the fomner is alleged to have stabbed 1 the latter with a knife. EMPLOYERS' ASSOCIATION. Wellington, Last Night. The advisory board of the New Zca- ' land Employers' Federation met to-day, ;when it was decided to recommend the affiliated societies to agree to the annual meeting of the federation being, held this year on September 13 instead of at the end of October, or beginning of November, as usual. This action is to taken in vimv of the probability of there being but a short Parliamentary session.
