(From Our Own Corrftspondent.) Owing to a misapprehension as to conditions the committee of the Xorth Taranuki Ploughing Association decided to extend the time of entry till Tuesday evening. It is not necessary that the entrant be the ploughman, it beißg quite in accordance with the conditions that a ploughman can act as such for the entrant. The various officials were appointed to carry out the duties necessary on the day, Thursday next. The arbitration case between the Borough Council and the Spiral Steel Pipe 00. was concluded on Saturday. The arbitrators' verdict may ,be expected next week.
