A special prize of £1 10s and trophy will be awarded to the best turn-out in Classes 1, 2 & 3.

Entrance Fees.—Class 1, 5/-; Class 2, 4/-; Class 3, 3/-. Separate entries for best turn-out, 1,/- in each class. Entries will be received up to 5 o'clock on FRIDAY, July 20, at Waitara. RULES. 1. All teams to be ready to start at iu a.m. 2. Each competitor in double-furrows to plough % acre, and in single furrow half acre. 3. Double-furrow ploughs to gather four rounds (16 furrows), to be the full depth, 6 inches, on the third round 4 Single-furrows to gather a ridge of 10 furrows to be the full depth, 5 inches, on the fourth round. 6. The time allowed in each class will be five hours from 10 a.m. Any competitor exceeding the five hours will be disqualified. 6. All competitors must finish with a clean up or seed furrow. No featheredge allowed. 7. No handling allowed by any coinpetitor or other person. 8. No other person but the competitor to be allowed on the ground laid out for ploughing after the fiwt round. 9.
