SUMMARY AND FORECAST. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. ( Following is the weather Bummary and forecast:—The barometer has fallen everywhere, and especially in the northern districts, where easterly winds, strong to gale, have prevailed, and cloudy and showery weather. Fair to cloudy weather has prevailed elsewhere, and moderate and variable winds. Present indications aTe for rain and boisterous ' ■ weather generally. Heavy rain is expected on the east coast of the North Island, and rivers rising shortly. Easterly and northerly winds, strong to gale, are probable generally, and a falling barometer expected everywhere.
