Class 1 (DOUBLE FURROW).-Kn« prize £5 5s and special; 2nd, £2 Mis and special; 3rd, £1 10s. A special will be given for the best upon up or ridge of 16 furrows. ... . Class 2. A special priae of £L 10b and trophy will be awarded to the best turn-out in Classes 1, 2 & 3. Entrance Fees.—Class 1, 5/-; Class 2, 4/-; Class 3, 3/-. Separate entries for best turn-out, 1./- in each class. Entries will be received up to 5 o'clock on FRIDAY, July 20, at Waitaro. RULES. 1. All teams to be ready to start at 10 a.m. 2. Each competitor in double-furrowg to plough % acre, and in single furrow half acre. 3. Double-furrow ploughs to gather four rounds (16 furrows), to be the full depth, 5 inches, on the third round. 4. Single-furrows to gather a ridge of 10 furrows to be the full depth, 5 inches on the fourth round. ' 5. The time allowed in each class will be Ave hours from 10 a.m. Any competitor exceeding the five hours will be disqualified. 6. All competitors must finish with a j clean up or seed furrow. No featheredge allowed.

7. Mo handling allowed by any competitor or other person. 8. No other person but the competitor to be allowed on the ground laid out for ploughing after the first round. 9. In special prizes for Classes 1 and 2 for best turn-out, horses and harness < must be the bona fide property of the entrant. 10. Should the entries be leas than three in number in any class, the judges will award such prizes as they deem fit 11. Entrance fee must accompany the entry. 18. Three judges will be appointed, and their decision will be final. JUMPING COMPETITIONS. To start at 2 p.m. Class I.—MAIDKN JUMPING. For riders and horses that have never won a jumping contest. A sweepstake of 5/ea«h, with a special prize from the Association. Class 2.-OPEN JUMPING. For allcomers.' A sweepstake of 10/-, with a special for the winner from the Association. '
