SUMMARY AND FORECAST. By Telegraph.—Press Association. , Wellington, Last Night. The Meteorological Office has issued tiw following summary and forecast:— The barometric pressure has decreased everywhere to-day, with increasing easterly and northerly winds, a- moderate gale at Cape Brett being reported from Russell this .morning and eveningt Light rain has fallen at times in ports northward of Gisborae and Raglan, but fine weather has continued generally. Present indications are for a falling barometer everywhere, wjth easterly and northerly winds, increasing strong to gale. A storm aTea on the Tasman Sea is still imminent, but with the delay is probably decreasing on the edge of the anti-cyclone now passing eastward. • Increasing haze and. cloudiness will'probably be followed by rain in all parts of the country.
