KING EDWARD STATUES.
THE QUESTION OF SITES. By Cable.—Press Association. —Copyright London, July 17. The King Edward Memorial Committee has agreed to place the statue of the King at the Piccadilly end of the Broad Walk in the Crcen Park. The Government, the King, and Queen Alexandra approve this proposal, also the erection of a statue in the East End. An advisory committee has been appointed to obtain designs and select a sculptor. The proposal to select a sculptor by competition was rejected.
