SUMMARY AND FORECAST. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The barometer pressure has decreased slightly, but anti-cyclonic conditions still hold sway, and fine weather has prevailed except about the East Cape. This morning the winds have been variable, moderate, easterly, and northerly winds predominating. ' Present indications are for a falling barometer everywhere; easterly and northerly winds, increasing strong to gale in most parts of ■ the' country. Increasing haze and cloudiness will probably be followed by rain generally. A decided change 5s still ominous.
