The Maghazen's military convoy, while proceeding to Tangier to procure clothing, was unable to pass Alcazar, and returned, as the Spaniards wished to disarm the escort. REQUIREMENTS OF GERMANY. London, July 16. The Figaro's Berlin correspondent states that Germany renounces any territorial claim in Morocco, but insists on German industrial and financial participation in railways and other economic concessions. The Echo de Paris mentions an unconfirmed report that Germany seeks the cession of important territory in the French Congo.

The French and German Colonial Offices are being consulted regarding the proposals to induce Germany to close itlie Moroccan account and not to renew the attack. Advices from Mogador state that the cruiser Berlin has been landing batches each of forty armed men, who are exploring the immediate surroundings. The natives at Agadir are quiet. Teneriffe, July 17. The cruiser Berlin has arrived from Agadir, and is coaling and provisioning.
