An Auckland message says: —After the completion of every censiiß the Representation Commissioners readjust the electoral boundaries in consideration of the increased population. What is likely to result in consequence of the great increase in the north as shown by the ficures so far available? A representative of the Star sought the opinion of Mr. A. M. Myers, M.P. "As it is necessary for the Representation Commissioners to divide the total population (other than Maoris) into divisional districts having the same ouota of population, it appears to me," remarked Mr. Myers, "that so far the census returns disclose the fact that there will be three, or even four, additional members allotted to the North Island; with three, possibly, in the Auckland province. The figures for Eden county clearly demonstrate the fact that one or two extra members will be allotted to that area."
