ROWDY FRENCH DEPUTIES
SCEXE IX THE CHAMBER. AX UX PARALLELED TUMULT. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Paris, October -30. The scene in the Chamber last night, as cabled, was unparalleled, even during the crisis over the Panama Boulangism and the Dreyfus case. Deputies struggled with attendants in their efforts to storm the platform. There were several cases of fisticuffs.
On resuming on Sunday, M. Briand was conciliatory. The Chamber rejected the censure motion by 384 to 155.
