The pressure in the south early on Bunday, aSd jfaild and cloudy weather / prevailed, bu| with freshening aortherlies, especially south of Cook strait. Present indications are for high westerly irinds, veering to southeriies shortly in all parts of the country. Rain is probable generally, and a cold snap is likely to follow, with gnow on the higher levels and frosts inland. The barometer wili probably rise everywhere soon."
