RIFLE SHOOTING.
The rifle-shooting supremacy of the Taranaki province will be decided shortly, when the Taranaki Guards and the Stratford Rifle Club will fire n match. The Guards' fixtures include a match against the Tarata Rifle Club. It is proposed to fire the annual rifle match between the Taranaki rifle clubs and volunteer companies at Eltham on Hood Friday. On the next day a team from the Taranaki Rifles will fire a match at Wanganui against the Wan<*anui Rifl?s.
