CONTEST AT NAPIER. By Telegraph.—Press Association. ~ Napier, Last Night. The annual contest for the Coleman Shi: Id look; place at lloy's llill rille range, near Hastings, to-day in fine weather. The conditions were twelvemen teams, seven shots at 200 yds, 500 yds and (iOOvds. Thy Ranfurly Rifles and Napier Guards tied for first place with the record score of 1055 points. The Napier Rifles came third with 1045, Hastings Killes 1018. and llawke's Hay Mounted Killes 995. 'I'll? champion belt, for which the twelve highest scorers shot oIT ten shots at "OOvds, was won by Bugle r Hay (Napier Guards), with 13S points.
