BUSH DISTRICTS SHOW.
A SUCCESSFUL FUNCTION. By Telegraph—Press Association. Woodville, Last Night. The eighteenth annua] show held under the auspices of the Bush Districts A. and I'. Association took place here to-day, and was an unqualified success. The weather was delightful, and consequently the attendance was large. During the afternoon the competitions were I a great attraction, every event passing off without a hitch or accident. The entries in the stock classes were slightly than last year, but those that know were satisfied that the quality was superior to anything ever exhibited here. In thoroughbred horses, A. Laing's Glen Gowrie was first and champion and the same owner received first and champion for marc. The hack ■classes were well filled. In the ladies' hacks, Mrs. Campbell's Whaiapo was first and Nelson's Dick second. *n draugnfs Jos. Beagley's Glen Olfis was first. Cattle llolstein-Frcsian bull, W. Remnant first and champion; cow, J. B. Veale, first and champion. In Ayrshire?, C. Woodley won most of the prizes and •championships. Jersey bull, J. S. Nelson first and champion. In Lincoln sheep, H. Gaisford was first and champion for ram and D. McDonald first and champion for ewe. In Border Leicesters, 11. B. Blythe was and champion lor ram, and N. P, Xeilson first and champion for ewe. In English Leicester's, S. li. Lancaster was the only exhibitor, and secured all the prizes and championships. In Eonincys there was good competition. G. L. Allen seemed first 'and champion for ram, and J. E. Hewitt first and champion for ewe. In Soutlulowns, P. L. McKen/.ie was awarded first and champion for ram, and S. R. Lancaster first and champion for ewe. In crosshreds, W. 11. Nelson secured most of the prizes. In fat sheep honors were divided among «>• Harding, 11. Gaisford and \Y. 11. Nelson.
