Hundreds of thousands of Parisians are thronging the quays to watch the carcases of cattle and horses, and 'broken pontoons, boats and washhouses in the swirling torrent. Preparations have been made to dynamite the pont at Delalma. The water has nearly reached the keystone. Seventeen hundred people are homeless in Auteuil The rest of the inhabitants are remaining in their houses, ami being fed by boats.
