ABATTOIR DISTRICT EXTENSION

FI.TZRUY OBJECTIONS. At thp Borough Council meeting last night the town clerk reported having written the Fitzroy Town Hoard explaining the proposal to extend the •abattoir district. His letter was as fellows:—'"l am in receipt of a letter •from the Secretary of Agriculture with reference to the proposed extension .if the Xew Plymouth abattoir district to include all land within three miles from tho borough boundary. The secretary (slates'tHat he has received a letter from your Board staiTiig that 'no reasons have been given why the district shon'd be extended, and that consequently the Board objects.'
