L. A. NOLAN & CO.'S REPORT. Poultry.—tin Saturday we had a huge entry ..of all classes with the exception of il'iicks, which were in small supply. Prices throughout were satisfactory. There is a guod demand for lilt table birds, lien.-, brought Is lid to 2s, cockerels Ik till to ;n, pullets lis to 4s, roosters Is (id to 2s 3d, drakes 2s »d. There was a big uttenduace at the sale of drapery and clothing on Saturday, mid very satisfactory prices' were realised. Shrubs and plants also sold well. Fruit.—Apples have been in large supply this week, big consignments having arrived from Tasmania and Nelson. The market is; linn, and the prices realised are about the same as previous week's. We quote: Apples, Tasniauian Stunners 10s Ud to lis, Nelson Stunners 8s 3d to Us, Washington* 7s Oil to 8s 0.1; bananas, inferior 5s Ud to 7s Oil, ripe 8s to %; oranges lis lid to 7s Oil, paosioiuj (small cases) Us.

WEBSTER BROS.' REPORT. Mart.—On Saturday w." had a good entry of poultry, and" prices were satisfactory, as under:—Heniv Is lid to Is lOd, I ullcU (fair class) 2s to 2s 4.1, cockerels 2s to 2s 2d, ducks 2s to 2s 4d. Fruit trees and native shrubs sold at advanced prices. Furniture—On Wednesday we held a sale of some iirst-class furniture, when every lot was .sold at the hammer. Prices realised were satisfactory. Fruit.—During the week heavy shipments of Island fruit, oranges and bananas, have come forward. Apples of [rood keeping quality arc in good demand.
