The Rnrnwa brought from Onchunga yesterday morning 140 tons of cargo, includiag 3 tons of manure, 10 tons of cement, 11 tons of sugar. 20 toils' of Hour and 2-I0 cases of fri.il. The Ra- | rawa left for Onehuuga as usual last night.

The Wangamii Harbor Board has instructed :its engineer to take steps at once to Wow up the after half of the wreck of the Charles Edward. The removal of this will have the elfect of stopping the diversion of the bar channel to the southward, and probably assist in the development of the new straight channel which the pilot reports is forming parallel with the north mole. The Union Company's steamer Wainui, which is now engaged in the Mel-bourne-Tasmaniaii trade, is said to have crashed inU a wharf- at .Melbourne on the -20 th July and done extensive damage. The vessel herself escaped without injury.
