(From Our Own Correspondent). • A new shooting competition for a trophy was commenced at tile Raliotu rille range dh Saturday. The conditions were 7 shots at each of the 500 and 000 yds ranges. J. Guy was successful ia obtaining a leg-in with a score of 00, viz., 30 at each range. Mr J. A. Coluier being runner-up witn oi. A football match was played at llaholu oil Saturday between teams representing Kaliotu school boys and i'arihaka. Neither team was fully represented.
