After supper a dance was held, excellent music being provided by Mosdames Leng and Orr. Mr. J. Eotlicry made a capable M.C. A rather unusual occurrence was witnessed 151 the township the other day, Two horses, owned by a Maori, attached to a dray loaded with timber, were, standing in the township when they took fright at a motor cyclist, and attempted to bolt. Excellent music was rendered by Miss L. Richards (piano), Mr. .1. Wilson (cornet), and Mr. ,T. Burgess (aeeordenn). During the evening songs were contributed by Mrs. Goodin, Misses. M. and E.
