POKIRUA HOTEL DESTiiOYED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Saturday. The l'orirua Hotel was dostroyci[by lire yesterday. Tile building was owned by Mr. Wareliam. The insurances were CSOO in the Itoyal ollicv and .CHSO in the South British 011 the building, and £(iOO in the South British 011 tlie contents. The inmates had a very narrow escape.
