i CARDIFF. The annual general meeting of shareholders was held on Monday. Mr. W. Richards, chairman of directors, presided. The* report and balance-sheet as circulated among shareholders were taken as Tead, and in moving their adoption the chairman said he would have been better pleased had the amount to be paid out to suppliers been larger. The reason it was not so was partly the reduced output, and partly the increased wages. Ocean freight was also oneeighth of a penny more than during the previous season, and this alone accounted for one farthing less on butter-fat.

At election to fill the vacancies on the directorate caused by the retirement' by rotation of Messrs. Richards, MoFawgen, and Topp and the resignations of Messrs. McKean and Kalfc, resulted in the return of Messrs. Richards, Topp and McGechic, for the first-named, and Messrs McFadgen and Henderson for the latter positions. Mr. P. F. Ralfe was re-elected auditor.

It was decided to distribute the surplus on the basis of the. amount of but-ter-fat supplied. A special meeting was afterwards held at which it was unanimously resolved to register under the Co-operative Dairy Companies' Act. At a directors' meeting held immediately after Mr. W.
