Mr, Redmond, speaking at Dublin, read Ms letter informing Mr. Attruitfa and* Mr. Birrell that if the people once got >t into tlieir heads that the defeats of the Land Act of 1003 were not to be. remedied and no fresh legislation immediately proposed dealing with the congestion and breaking up of growl, lands, it would be impossible for Va\ Nationalist Party to hold themselve* responsible for tihe peace of Ireland. Mr. Asquith, in reply, he said, promised to legislate at the end of the session on the line of tha Irish party's suggestions.
