THE SYDNEY STRIKE.
CARTERS RESUME WORKSydney, March 27. The carters who struck in sympathy with the wharf laborers have resumed work. The strike executive, feeling that it was able to tie the ships up by merely koeping the engineers and crews out, caused the carters to resume. This prevented a lock-out of carters.
ONE EFFECT OF THE STRIKE. Received 28th, 1 a.m. Sydney, March 27. Strike matters are quiet. The. trouble in Sydney is causing the northern rivers' trade to be diverted to Brisbane.
