DEVASTATING FLOODS.
IN AMERICAN STATES. SEVERAL TOWNS DESTROYED. Received 24th, 9 p.m. New York, March 24. Wind and rain atorma swept the Btates of Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama. Several small towns were destroyed. Many fatalities are recorded.
