Sydney, March' 23. the conference of the coastal steamship companies and the Wharf Laborers' Lmon was resumed this afternoon. The representatives of the shipping companies presented their tinal terms nil;tcr which they were prepared to seille the strike. " with Die strike. It was resolved that the lime had arrived to assert the right of an employer to utilise nonunion lalror, especially at a time when unionists retuse work at arbitration award wages. It was further decided to give full support to the coastal companies who were maintaining this principle, also expressing admiration at the courage, patience, and consideration of public interest exhibited by the representatives of the coastal , companies in connection with the pre- , sent dispute.
