The Infant Life Protection Bill was read a third time and passed. The Agricultural Laborers' Acoommo- v dation Bill, Government Advances to Settlers Bill, Agricultural Implement Manufacture Importation and Sale Bill, -j and the Taumaranui Town Council Election Validation Bill were read a second Laborers' Accoimuodation_ Bill was put through committee slightly amended, and the Council rose at 11.5. HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES In the House, the Ota jo "Presbyterian Church Board of Property Act Amendment Bill and Parliamentary and Executive Titles Bill were read a first time. _ The Post and Telegraph Office Classification Bill was read a second tiiue, and the House adjourned at p.m. In the House tlie Public Works Estimates and Public Works Statement were brought down and laid 011 the table. The Railway Classification and Public Service Classification Bills were read and second time on the voices. The House, -went into committee on the Flour and other Products Monopoly Prevention Bill. On the Premier's motion, clause 3, providing that an Order- .. jn-Csunci! rcnStting -the duty may be revoked not earlier than four months, Was amended to three months, and the Bill was read a third time and passed.
