Per Press Association. Chrischurch, Last Night. To-day, "People's Day," was the lasl day of the Canterbury A. and P. Association's metropolitan show, and was very largely attended, the total number of admissions being 32,224 for the day, The gate takings totalled £lOl6 0s 9d : which does not include the railway receipts. The total receipts for the three days amount to £1237 15s 3d, lasl year's four days' exhibition producino £1313 13s 4d. Later. The total cash receipts for the three days of the metropolitan show, which closed to-day, have been ascertained to be £1387 15s 3d, as against £1313 13s Id for the four days' show last year.
