I'OSTPON KMLNT GRANTED. Received 21st, 0.31 a.in. Sydney, Deeeinber 20. Mr Click appeared before the Full Court to slum cause why lie should not he struck oil' the roll of solicitors. The grounds for citation was the finding uf the Lamia Commission, that of sums of money received by Peter Close as land agent, on their being dealt, with by the Minister of Lands, Crick received half.
Tlio proceedings against Crick wnv initiated on behalf of the Incorporated Law Institute. Mr Ol'o. iL Reid ami Mr AYaJkur appeared) for Mi 4 Cijick. The latter, in ail aJlidavit, set out the necessity for a, postponement to enable him to prepare his ease, and declared he had not been guilty of any olieuce against the law of the {State. Mr Reid, in a lengthy argument in favour of postponement, said they asked for an opportunity to bring forward such explanation as would lead the Court to the conclusion that the linding of the Lands Commission was wrong. \
The Chief Justice said the only tiling the Court was concerned about was the finding that Crick received half Close's fees. Eventually a postpouement was granted till th« lirst day of next term iu February.
