THE MARINE DEPARTMENT.
Per Press Association. Wellington, December 2. The Hon. J. A. Miller, Minister of Marino, intends visitibg Auckland and itaipara, and while thero will make complete arrrngemeuts for better supervision in regard to overloading of timber vessels. Mr Millar is in communication with a Naval surveying ofljoer in'JSngland with regard to a survey of the New Zealand coast. It is proposed that tho Hinemoa or the Tutanekai will take up the work on the East Coast of the North island, whore H.M.S. Penguin 1.-ft oil.
