Received 30th, n.S p.m. Loudon, October 30. The House of Lords is considering the Education Bill in committee. Mr lleanage's amendment, that every public elementary school should devote some portion of school hours to religious instruction, was carried by 256 to 5 0. The minority included, besides Lord Riiion and 01 ' Kr members of the Government. Lore.' jßosebery and Ampihill. The Government suppliers argu<that the amendment vague, and the Opposition replied that it was :n accordance with Ministerial declarations and the general spirit of the BilU
