DUE TO FAULTY CONSTRUCTION. Received 31st, 12.1J a.m. New York, October 30. The Atlantic City railway disaster, caused by a train jumping the track, and resulting in the deaUi of 70 and injury to 20 people, was due to the defective connection between the ordinary rails and those of the drawbridge, the lntter rails being the higher.
