SUPREME COURT.
PER MESS ASSOCIATIONS*. CnßisifiiMoir, August 8. At the Supremo Cnirt to-day, William Murdoch and Peter Triston were each sentenced to 18 months' imprisonment for robbery with violence. Frederick James Mitchell was acquitted on a charge of stealing a watch from the person of Stanley Austen. Joseph Suckling, a small boy oE about U, was charged with assaulting another lad with intent to do grievous bodily harm. Tile two boys were together when accused shot the other, with a pea rifle. Suckling explained that the affair was a pure accident, as he did not know the rifle was loaded A verdict of "A r ot guilty" was returned. John Henry Eagleslone was sentenced to five years' imprisonment for attempting to commit an unnatural offence.
