AN APPEAL FOll LENIENCY'. PKB PRESS ASSOCIATION. Chmstciiuuch, December 2S. Mr 0. M. Gray, M.H.lt. for Christchurch North, has written to the Premier urging a merciful modification, on broad public grounds, of the Cabinet's decision in dismissing the three post office clerks connected with the voucher incident. Mr Gray disclaims any personal feeling iu the matter, and does not question the justice of the Cabinet's verdict.
