(Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Jan. 30. The anniversary regnttu was the most successful for many years past, both as rogaiids attendance an<4 nuntIjer o|f entries. The Iludilnrt Parker Company's steamer was the flagship, and during the <loy her deck presented a most animated scene. The various yachting race**. eapecia;Uy the smaller classes, brought forth large fields, ami the racing was keen, although the wind was fluKy at tunes, from southeast to north-vast and then southwest. There wire over JOO yachts CoiujuHiiig in the rucetj and the harbour with those and other not racing, was a perfect picture. Jta the lace, for the forgo class the yacht Lriki, Messrs Lo gun j iros> . lu , wt btfiid, and owned by Mr C. Hiortoii, beat the crack ltainbow after a lijie race. An old cutter was blown up in the harbour during the afternoon.
