Torpedo Boats Quit tho Baltic TO SUCCEED THE •■• VOLUNTEERS." ■* LONDON, August. 1. The Russian torpedo boats, accompanied by two largo steamers carrying the naval nag, have traversed the Great licit, u strait connecting the Baltic Sea and the Kattegat, an arm of tho North! Sea. The vessels then proceeded northwards, and it is surmised they may probably be intondod to succeed the cruisers of the "volunteer" squadrdn in tho Bed Sea. RETURN OF THE VESSELS. A PROCEEDING WITHOUT AN EXPLANATION. (Received August 2, 11.59 p.m.) LONDON, August 3.' The cruisers which traversod the Groat Belt wore the Don and Ural, which have now, with their accompanying torj)edo boats, returned.
