NOTI IB is hereby given that a Special Meeting of the New Plymouth Borough Gonncil will be hald nt the Council Chambers, Kins-street, New Plymouth, on the 23rdd»yof Maich, 1903, at 7.30 p.m , for the purpose of confirming a resolution passed by the Council on the 16th rfay of February, 1903, ordaining and making by-laws for the Borough of New Plynouth, to come into operation and foce on lh» 31st day of March, 1903; and also (hit the object and purport of such by-laws if (a) To repeal all by-laws heretofore in fo'ce In the Borough, excepting the "Building By-l»ws, 1932"; (b) To provide for tho good rule and government of the borough; (c) To provide what are offonces on streets, and the naming of streets and the numbering of houses; (d) Fixing ohar<es for water snpply and on works in connection therewith, and the licensing of plumbers; (e) The he nsing cf cirria-ej, car's, and drivers, and lixir.g oiiarpes, and as to off noes by drivers ami pen Oties therefor; (f.)
