PRESENTATION TO THE PREMIER.
PER PRE3S ASSOCIATION. Christchurch, March 10. The Premier was presented with an address signed by 20,000 persons. It had been intended to present this addross last April, but it could not be illuminated before Mr Seddon left for England. To# Premier, in reply, defended his action in accepting the national presentation, aud deniei that he was a wealthy man, saying that a rumour to that i-fleet had b:ea circulated in order to do him harm.
