ANNEXATION OF FIJI.
[PER PRB3S ASSOCIATION.] 1 Received 23, 9.38 a.m. Sydney, August 23. The Daily Telegraph says that (rem the Fijian view of annexation to New Zealand it does not Eeem to hare inspired and federal spirit, It is purely * business matter with the people oi Fiji, the change desired being merely from the existing form of Government. The grievance is, perhaps, well founded, out the suggested remedy is a bad one. Fiji governed from New Zealand woula hoc be much better gorerned than now. New Zealand objected to joining the Federation because of the distance irom Australia. The same objection I will apply as regards New Zealand and Fiji,
