SOUTH AUSTRALIAN BUDGET.
PEB PBBSS ASSOCIATION. Eeceived 24,1 a.m. Adelaide, August 23. In the Assembly the Treasurer in his Budget speech gave the revenue as £2,780,858, an increase of £115,381 over the previous year, The expenditure was £2,779,317. The estimate of revenue for the current year was, on 'the basis of a seven bushels harvest, £2,869,377, and ihe expenditure £2,867,727. He estimated the colony's share of the cost of federal Government at £40,000. Towards this he had allowed £20,000 off the current year's customs revenue to meet the first half year's cost.
