The levenue for the past nine months was £372,000 above that of the same period last yeir, and exceeded the expenditure by £609,000. Gamble, the last of the Torbanlea colliery victims, is dead. The Cabinet has appointed a Royal Commission to enquire into the methods of keeping tho national accounts dealing with various funds under Government control, and also a I Board to carry out the scheme recently I approved by tho Cabinet for dealing with the unemployed dilliculty.
