The motor of a United Sta'es army aeroplane stalled at an altitude of 2000 feet at Greenville, Alabama, today, and the. seven passengers jumped, reaching the ground safely. The pilot’s parachute, however, caught in the I ail of the aeroplane and he was dragged to death in a ploughed field.
