Mrs Herrick, travelling secretary ot the S.C.S.. Is at present the guest of Miss Wilson at St Mary’s School. Miss Herrick's headquarters are in Wellington.

A farewell party was given for Mrs Truby King and held at Mrs. Pitt’s residence on Wednesday afternoon, many of her friends attending to bid her farewell, as she is shortly to take up her residence in New Plymouth. Mrs. Pitt wore a smart frock of matalasse, black ground with large floral design. The guest of honour wore a floral crepe de chine with rose tones. She was presented with a charming bouquet on entering. After tea, Mrs. j I. B. Richards, on behalf of her many friends,. presented Mrs Truby Klug with , a handsome beaten brass and black lacquer firescreen.
