activities now going on in the country as well as all those classes of the community affected by the investigations. The 'appointments made to date, include the following: Dr. Elizabeth Gunn, well known for her work as acting-didecljor cuf the division of school hygiene. Dr. C. E. Beeby, formerly lecturer in psychology ,Canterbury University College and acting-professor of education for some time. While at Canterbury College Dr. Beeby became noted i for his work in the industrial application of psychology and in recent years he ' has been director for the New Zealand Council of Educational Research established by the Carnegie Corporation.

Mr. E. 11. Langford, who is attached to the secretarial staff of the Minister for Industries and Commerce and is an economist closely interesteu in | social science. ! Dr. E.
