EASTER TRAFFIC.
Shipping Arrangements to South Island. To cope with the heavy Easter passenger traffic between the North and Routh Islands, special time-tables arc announced for the holiday period in the steamer express services to Wellington. On Thursday, March 25, additional daylight sailings will be made by the Rangatira from Eyttelton, after the arrival of the 7.35 a.m. train from Christchurch, and by the Wahine from Wellington at 8.15 a.m. The ensuing evening sailings from Lyttelton to Wellington will ~be;
The Wahine, Thursday, March 25; Rangatira, Friday, March 26; Wahine, Saturday, March 27. Similarly from Wellington the sailings will lie; Rangatira, Thursday, March 25; Wahine’, Friday, March 26, and Rangatira, Saturday, March 27. On Sunday, March 28, the Rangatira will leave Lyttelton for Wellington (after the arrival of the 7.37 p.m. train from Christchurch), and the Wahine will leave Wellington at 7.45 p.m. for Lyttelton.
